Lucid Sunshine

This is my submission for the LSDJam 2023. This game is admittedly more inspired by Yume Nikki than it is by LSD, because I was not feeling up to the task of making a full 3D experience. It is a bit rushed in some aspects, however I had to cut the almost three month development cycle short, because I'd be too busy to release it in time otherwise. (I am rushing to even finish writing this description!).I apologize for the glitchines.

This experience is a deep dive into my mind. Material referenced is predominantly related to my dreams, nightmares and random thoughts that have been manifesting in my mind for a very long time. Even though it may not be the best I could have made it, it is a deeply personal project. It feels like many things in my life have lead me up to creating it. 

The very disjointed nature of it in all regards is very intentional, as that is how my dreams usually are.

The strange language used throughout the game is toki pona. Many games of this "genre" tend to use japanese extensively, however I do not speak japanese so I went for the next best thing. I am not a very proficient speaker, so I apologize for any grammatical mistakes.
